Directions for Use

The Following points should be clearly understood to make consistently good joints.

  • Stir and Shake before using.
  • Clean pipe and fittings with cleaner.
  • The joining surfaces must be softened and made semi-fluids.
  • Apply a generous layer of solvent cement to the pipe and fittings. Overcoating a thin wall or bell end pipe is not recommended.
  • Assemble parts QUICKLY! The cement must be fluid. If not fluid, re-coat both parts.
  • The pipe should be pushed firmly into the fitting using a 1/4 turning motion until the pipe bottoms out.
  • For 60 seconds, hold the pipe and fittings together.
  • Allow the joint to cure sufficiently before handling.
  • Do not apply pressure until the cement has completely cured.
